    Beginner Fly Fishing Clinics

    Beginner Fly Fishing Clinics, hosted by the
    Friends of the Cacapon River at the the River House 24 Rickie Davy Lane, Capon Bridge, WV. Must pre-register.

    There are only a few slots open in each of the 3 upcoming fly fishing clinics so don’t delay. Sign up at https://cacaponriver.org/activities/

    The clinics are FREE and will take place on both Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24. Expert instructors from the Friends of the Cacapon River and Trout Unlimited will gently show you proper technique. All the action happens at The River House in Capon Bridge.

  • Artisans’ Market

    Come stop and shop at The River House!

    Join us for our open-air, Artisans’ Market, featuring local artists showcasing, demonstrating and selling their work.

    Come meet the artists, shop for handmade goods, and visit The River House gallery and café!

  • Camera Club at The River House

    All are welcome. Everyone who loves photography, from beginners to experts. The mission is to encourage each member at whatever level you are and to share ideas among members, both technical and creative.

    Meetings held monthly – dates, times, and locations vary.

    Join us at Taggart Hall as we participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count, an event dedicated to counting and conserving birds. All levels of birders welcome. Bring your own binoculars!  Severe weather cancels the event.
