Dollinger Farm, owned by Jim and Kim Dollinger, began with a mini donkey and a few pets. They added chickens to raise their own organic eggs, and soon began providing them to friends and family. In 2015, they expanded by buying a 20+ acre farm in Rio, WV and restoring the barn. They enjoy farm work so much that they don’t miss taking vacations and consider their farm their “little piece of heaven”.

We are a 1st Generation Family-Owned Farm. We are a family of 5 living and homesteading in the mountains of West Virginia. We raise a lot of our own meat and grow some of our own veggies, and lots of dahlias! We have a love for growing things and many years experience in horticulture and commercial growing. We grew our first dahlia plant 4.5 years ago and we were hooked on it’s beauty and the amount of blooms each plant puts out every year. We believe our food is our medicine and the more natural the better. We grow and raise everything as naturally and organically as possible and we are looking to incorporate more regenerative practices on our farm in the future.
