From live cooking demos and decorating mini-pumpkins with dried flowers to U-pick pumpkin patches and artisan craft sessions, every stop is packed with something authentic and unique to Hampshire County. You’ll meet friendly animals, witness traditional chili cooked in an iron kettle, and discover the charm of rural life that you can’t find anywhere else. Whether you’re exploring hands-on farming experiences or indulging in local crafts, you’ll know you’ve chosen the best destination for a true and unforgettable fall adventure.
🍁 What’s New for the Hampshire County Fall Crawl? 🍁
This isn’t your average farm tour! We’ve gone all out to make the Fall Crawl an unforgettable experience. Hampshire County’s first-ever Fall Crawl is shaping up to be an epic day of fall fun. Mark your calendars for October 12th, and get ready for a day packed with unique farm experiences, local flavors, and unforgettable moments. Here’s a taste of what’s in store:
🎶 Live Music & Bonfires: Cozy up with live tunes at The River House (make sure to snag your tickets in advance!) and warm yourself by the bonfire at Nellie’s Flower Farm.
🦙 Interactive Animal Encounters: Ever pet an alpaca or fed a fainting goat? You can at Dollinger Farm, Fainting Hills Farm, Nellie’s Flower Farm, Powder Keg Farms, Seeds of Grace Acres, Sugar Grove Farm, and Triple E Farms. Get up close and personal with the animals!
🎉 Farm Fun Zones: It’s fun for the whole family! Bounce through the Farm Fun Zone at Seeds of Grace Acres or enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride and bounce house at the Grassy Lick-Kirby Community Center.
🍎 Apple Butter Making: Experience the tradition of apple butter making live at the Slanesville Ruritan Club. It’s a fall favorite you won’t want to miss!
🛍️ Artisan Markets: Farmhouse Studio will host Artisans on the Farmhouse Lawn, featuring over 30 artisans selling their handmade crafts and unique farm goods. It’s the perfect place to pick up something special.
🍏 Hampshire County Apples & Cider: Fall isn’t complete without fresh apples and cider. Visit Smith’s Orchard and Market or Spring Valley Farm Market to grab some of Hampshire County’s finest produce.
🚜 Triple E Farms: Visit Triple E Farms from 9 AM to 8 PM for some farm fun, including pumpkin chunkin’ to feed the cows, yard games like cornhole, petting or milking a cow (see the cows get milked around 4 PM), and shop in their farm store for snacks and goodies. It’s a day of fun for the whole family!
